Can-Am and 24.7Hunt Get Poetic About Waterfowl Season

The short film goes much deeper than pitching a new side-by-side.

I grew up hunting in the woods of Tennessee, but we never had the tools that today’s YouTubers wield. Can-Am Off-Road recently shared a video of its work with the guys at 24.7Hunt, an outdoor brand and YouTube channel. If their jobs as outdoor influencers and professional hunters don’t make you jealous, the Can-Am rigs they get to use on their hunts probably will.

The video’s pretty light on footage of the Can-Am Defender, but the point here is that anyone should be able to hunt, regardless of who they are or the color of their skin. Plus, his other message of “just getting out and enjoying nature” should resonate with just about anybody stuck behind a desk most of the time. It’s hard to explain the allure of the first day of any hunting season to a nonbeliever, but the video’s voice-over does a pretty darn good job.

While the video goes a bit deeper than advertising side-by-sides, we can’t entirely ignore the Defender. Can-Am’s four-seater Defender Max starts at $15,199 and brings 27-inch tires on 14-inch wheels, an auto-locking front diff, and a steel front bumper. Moving up the line, a more heavily tricked-out version of the Max, the X MR, costs a little more than $26,199 and offers a four-wheel-drive mud mode, a 4,500-pound winch, and 30-inch tires on 14-inch wheels.
