2018 Can-Am Maverick X3 900 H.O.
For some, having the biggest , baddest machine available is something they can’t live without. Even though they may never use all the power and suspension a particular machine has, they want top of the line. Maybe just for bragging rights. However, the best might actually be a little less. Take in the case of the new 2018 Can-Am Maverick X3 900 H.O. It has 90 horsepower, 18 inches of wheel travel, cool looks and the comfortable cockpit the X3 is know for. Plus, it’s priced within reach for many more at $17,999.
Other than the lack of turbo, what makes the H.O. priced so low is that it has shorter shocks and they have no rebound or compression adjustments. They are still equipped with piggyback reservoirs and preload adjustments. Furthermore the front diff is the old Visco-Lock style instead of the Smart-Lok diff BRP just announced. Finally, the 6-ply Maxxis Big Horn tires are a shorter 27” tall when compared to the 28” tires found on the base turbo X3.
That price is exactly the same as the Polaris RZR XP10000 and $1,000 less than the Yamaha YXZ1000R. However, both of those machines mentioned have more horsepower at 110 and 112.
