Garmin is joining the powersports stereo party with the Tread Audio System with LED Controller. The setup brings high-performance, premium-quality audio with features like a wireless remote to UTVs.

The new Tread Audio System is an all-in-one, 100-watt RMS per channel system designed for off-road powersports vehicles. It has a four-channel amplifier on board, and controlling the speaker system is done via a wireless remote, the Tread app on your smartphone, or the Tread navigator display. You can also stream AM/FM like a good old-fashioned radio. The audio box has two 6.5-inch XS-LED tower speakers while boasting an IP67 water- and dust-resistance rating. LED speaker lights can be programmed to display call sign colors, and can sync with the music. Mounting hardware is included with the radio.

Garmin says the all-in-one Tread Audio System can be purchased in separate parts or bundled with additional speakers or subwoofers to suit specific needs. The individual Tread Audio Box with LED Controller carries an MSRP of $599.99, and the Tread Audio System with LED Controller has an MSRP of $1,199.99. Separate pairs of the 6.5-inch XS-LED Tower

Speakers cost $599.99. To learn more visit garmin.com/treadaudio.

As a reminder, we’re all for playing some tunes on the trail and for a good light show to go with it, but just remember to never be that guy who blasts things so loud it hampers others’ rides. Stay smart out there and enjoy the ride.
