Without a tow rig, trailer, or even the off-road machine itself, the prospect of rock crawling is a distant aspiration. Bombardier Recreational Products has enlisted Ross Robinson, a Central Oregon-born big-mountain expedition guide, to help bridge that gap.
From Midnight Sun Fun in Fairbanks, Alaska, to Hell’s Revenge in Moab, Utah, BRP offers more than a dozen off-road adventures across the United States and Australia. And Robinson’s new role as chief of adventure is to help curate these experiences to be as engaging and accommodating as possible. Before he can begin fine-tuning these experiences, BRP has sent him out on a six-month road trip throughout the United States, partaking in each mode of adventure Bombardier has to offer.
Can-Am’s off-road fleet is a central character in the Uncharted Society family, with 27 land based adventures on offer. Robinson is especially familiar with side-by-sides, having previously raced them. He also has plenty of Polaris RZR content on his Instagram. And while he’s a factory rider for Lynx Snowmobiles, Robinson has paid his dues in ATV and two-wheeled seat time. What this means for the eager adventurer is that Uncharted Society is in good hands.
“We couldn’t be more excited to see this role come to life and to welcome Ross to the BRP team,” Simon Cazelais, director of Uncharted Society, said in a company press release. “He truly embodies the Uncharted Society ethos, bringing incredible energy, enthusiasm, and zest for powersports to the role.”
For those looking to hit the trails and throw some dirt, pricing for these experiences range from $165 to $4,000, with hourly to multiday events. If you’re looking to catch Robinson himself, BRP has published a loose schedule for his trip. You can also check out a live schedule at Roadtrippers.
