Wheel Pros, purveyor of an already wide assortment of aftermarket automotive parts, has expanded its collection. The company recently purchased Transamerican Auto Parts from Polaris, bringing an array of long-standing parts companies to the brand’s portfolio.

Clearlake Capital-backed Wheel Pros has long been a friend of us at UTV Driver, recently participating in our Lexus GX 460 build project among other things. In an attempt to further vertically integrate itself as a supplier in the automotive aftermarket space, Wheel Pros purchased Transamerican Auto Parts (TAP). The conglomerate was acquired from Polaris Inc. Included in the transaction were storied companies like Smittybilt, Pro Comp, Rubicon Express, Poison Spyder, G2, and 4WD Factory (including 4wheelparts.com and 4WD.com).
