Fox Creates Trail Trust to Focus on Sustainability

The company put up $500,000 to get the fund rolling.

Fox has created the Trail Trust initiative to focus on sustainability.Yamaha

Fox is good at many things, including making some of our favorite suspension components for UTVs, ATVs, trucks, and mountain bikes. To keep the trails its business thrives on open, Fox has launched a community investment program called Trail Trust.

The program was created to promote “the conscientious use of land among outdoor enthusiasts and protecting our shared playgrounds.” It plays into the company’s Planet Pillar sustainability strategy. Fox Factory’s Chief Purpose and Inclusion Officer Jackie Martin said, “This is the beginning of our pursuit of a future where people and planet come first, and where adventure is never done.”

Fox plans to use its visibility and reach to improve the company and industry’s focus on responsible land use, and has put $500,000 toward the Trail Trust. The trust is already giving to organizations such as Tread Lightly, National Off-Highway Vehicle Conservation Council, Off-Road Business Association (ORBA), and Post Wildfire OHV Recovery Alliance. Enrollment in the Trail Trust is open and done on a rolling basis. Those interested or with questions can email giving@ridefox.com for more information.
