Watch Us Try to Run a Pro R and a Turbo R for 24 Hours

What could go wrong?

We came, we saw, we failed.UTV Driver

Earlier this year, we set ourselves a challenge: Run a 2022 Polaris RZR Pro R and a 2022 Polaris RZR Turbo R for 24 hours at Windrock Park in Oliver Springs, Tennessee. Why? Because the machines have 25-hour break-in periods, of course. And because we wanted to see how many times we could summit the park in a day of nonstop running. If you read our post on the experience, you know it didn’t go as well as it could have. We learned some things.

First among them? Bring spare wheels and tires. Second? The mountain almost always wins. We brought along a video crew to document the shenanigans, and the footage just arrived from the editing booth. Watch as our day goes from bright and sunny to the exact opposite of that as we face down flat tires, foul weather, poison ivy, and more hamburgers than we could eat. It wasn’t all bad. Meanwhile, we’ll get back to scheming up more ways to hurt ourselves for your entertainment, including another crack at the 24 Hours of RZR.
