The Honda Factory Race Team has officially joined Red Bull for the rest of the 2025 season and beyond, adding driver Corbin Leaverton. The news comes on the back of a major win at the Mint 400 back in March, Leaverton’s first win with the team. Previously a recruit for the Red Bull Off-Road Junior team, the 23-year-old is a veteran of the World Off-Road Championship (WORCS) and Best in the Desert (BITD) series and competed in his first Dakar race in January.
“I’m stoked to have Red Bull on board the Honda Talon Racing program for the remainder of the 2025 season,” said Jeff Proctor, Honda Factory Racing team principal. “Honda and Red Bull are no question two of the most prestigious companies in all motorsports, so it’s awesome to be a part of them joining forces in Off-Road racing. Looking forward to going racing at the Baja 500 and excited for this partnership to continue to grow and be successful into the future.”
Honda and Red Bull raced as a team for the first time over the weekend in the Baja 500. Leaverton ended up finishing first in the Pro UTV Normally Aspirated class, with fellow Honda driver Ricardo Torres right behind him on the podium.
The next race the Honda team will suit up for is the Baja 400, which takes place September 10–14. Stay tuned for further details and race updates!
