Polaris Ranger XP 1000 Recalled for Fire and Crash Hazard

The 2023 Polaris Ranger XP 1000 NorthStar and Crew XP 1000 NorthStar have been issued a recall due to an improperly installed brake cable. The cable is at risk of kinking and causing the brake circuit to remain open, potentially causing an electrical fire, premature brake wear, brake overheating, and brake failure.

There have been one report of fire and three reports of kinked brake lines. If you own a 2023 Polaris Ranger XP 1000 NorthStar or Crew XP 1000 NorthStar, it is recommended to stop using it immediately and bring it to a Polaris dealer for inspection and repair if necessary.
