CageWrx DIY YXZ1000R Roll Cage

UTV Garage

Have you been considering a DIY roll cage from CageWRX? We will show you how easy the process is so you can decide if going that route is right for you.

The DIY concept, CageWrx came up with for UTV roll cages is genius. All, it takes is a competent welder, an afternoon and you are finished.CageWrx
The package is basic and you get everything you need in one box. Two seat cages are only $699. They can be shipped right to your door for an extra charge.UTV Driver
Your new cage can still be a bolt on piece. Once the CageWrx cage is built, it goes on and off just like your stocker. You can weld these bungs in place too if you wish.UTV Driver
In addition to our video, you can see how CageWrx, installed one of their early DIY cages on a Polaris RZR at http://wwwcagewrx.com.UTV Driver
Before you begin tack welding, the cage gets held together by ratchet straps. You need at least three.UTV Driver
Before you begin and while you tack weld the cage, periodically check the cage to make sure it is staying square.UTV Driver
After the cage has been tacked together, remove it from the car and weld up all the joints. We suggest tacking in more hidden areas so when you finish the welds, you can run a solid clean bead out in the open areas.UTV Driver
The CageWrx roof kit, comes with Zeus tabs and buttons along with a bead rolled aluminum top. Two seat roof kits start at $159.99.UTV Driver
We choose a grey powder coat close to the color of the SE frame on the YXZ1000R. http://www.powdercoatindustries.com did the work.UTV Driver
