Atturo Tires announced at the SEMA show in Las Vegas earlier this month that it is getting into the UTV tire market next year. Atturo has been selling off-road tires for light-duty trucks and SUVs for more than a decade. It plans to enter the market next year with two tires based on its off-road truck offerings: the Trail Blade X/T SxS and the Trail Blade Boss SxS. Both tires are steel-belted radials that share tread patterns and use cases with existing Atturo truck offerings.

The Trail Blade X/T SxS is a version of the brand’s all-terrain truck tread pattern, aimed at hardpack, light mud and sand, and short-course racing. Atturo says it is also compatible with metal studs for use on ice and snow.

The Trail Blade Boss SxS is a more aggressive tread pattern that also comes directly from the truck tire lineup. The Boss has been used at King of the Hammers and in Baja, according to Atturo, and is meant for the most aggressive terrain you can aim a rig at. To hammer the point home, Atturo is currently working on a contingency program for racers in SCORE, Ultra4, Best in the Desert, Great American Short Course, and Nor Cal Rock Racing series who run Atturo tires.

No word on pricing yet, but the Atturo Trail Blade X/T SxS should be available before the end of the year, with the Atturo Trail Blade Boss SxS to follow in the first quarter of 2023. They’ll be available for 14-inch and 15-inch rims, in tire sizes from 28 inches to 35 inches. As soon as we get our hands on a set, we’ll do a deep dive and see how they stack up.
