We’ve all been there. One minute you’re having a blast on the trail, the next your temperature gauge is in the red and steam is pouring from your overflow tank. The culprit? A dead fan. Unlike cars and trucks, UTV radiator fans take a serious beating, contending with vibrations, mud, water, dust, and hellish duty cycles. If you wheel regularly, odds are you’ll replace your fan at least once. Now there’s one more option when it comes time to replace the factory part. According to Motorcycle & Powersports News, Continental is getting into the UTV fan business. The company has been manufacturing radiator and cooling fan components for years, and it’s leveraging that knowledge to produce aftermarket fans for certain Polaris RZR and Can-Am Maverick models.

Price and availability will depend on make and model, but it’s good to know mainstream aftermarket component manufacturers are paying attention to the side-by-side market. Continental is also dipping a toe into the ATV side of things, building fans for machines like the Polaris Sportsman and Can-Am Outlander Renegade.
