Honda is expanding its Pioneer lineup with the addition of the all-new 2023 Honda Pioneer 1000-6 Deluxe Crew. The behemoth lands with a 115.2-inch wheelbase and a class-leading 28 inches of legroom in the second row. Orders for the new Pioneer open in September.

Honda hasn’t stopped with just throwing three extra seats at the Pioneer 1000, instead adding a slew of nice touches to help complete the package. There’s handy storage under the front and rear seats, plus a cubby below the dash and drink holders designed to hold cups up to 30 ounces in size.

There are mechanical changes as well. A dedicated Tow/Haul mode helps optimize power delivery; Honda tuned the engine for better performance with optimized valve timing and an updated throttle-body plate setting. Steering is made easier, too, with an electronic power steering system that boasts 50 percent more torque assist. And for when a heavy load is on board, be it in the cabin or bed, the 1000-6 Deluxe Crew has automatically self-leveling rear shocks. On the electronics front, there’s a prewired panel for the easy installation of accessories, and a matching dash switch panel.

The 2023 Honda Pioneer 1000-6 Deluxe Crew is available in Red or Olive for $21,899 or Honda Phantom Camo for $22,699.
