Watch an MTBer Debate Two Wheels vs. Four Wheels

Brandon Semenuk has spent his life in pursuit of the biggest sends he can dream up. Known first as a Trek Factory mountain bike freerider, he is also a motorsports junkie and a pro athlete for Polaris. He was in Virgin, Utah, earlier this fall for Red Bull Rampage, a massive freeride mountain bike event.

While he was there, he was cruising around in a custom 2023 Polaris General XP 1000. He took some time out of his trail building to give a quick rundown on the similarities and differences of extracting the maximum from his two- and four-wheeled disciplines.

We don’t want to spoil it, but Semenuk discusses the precision required in each vehicle, the sense of exposure in each machine, which is a bigger mental challenge, whether there is any crossover between the two disciplines, and his favorite two- and four-wheelers ever.
