Grind Hard Plumbing Co.’s Monster Chopper has taken over YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram as the gnarliest build out right now. The premise is a motorcycle with 46-inch tires. That’s it, that’s the whole thing. In reality, though, that’s extremely difficult to make work. The build includes hundreds of hours of custom fabrication to support the tires, fully custom suspension, and hydraulic steering to turn the massive tires.

The build isn’t done yet, as the crew still needs to fine-tune the steering and make the brakes work, but seeing the giant motorcycle actually move is inspiring. And, yes, because the chopper doesn’t have brakes yet, the bike ended up in a fence at the end of its test ride.

We’ve got a long way to go until it’s completely done, so until then check out the video below to see how Grind Hard Plumbing made the steering work.
