Watch B is for Build Kick Off a Wild Overlanding Project

The plan is to turn a Dodge Ram into a mobile gaming hotspot.

The concept is simple … the execution might not be.B is for Build

This is a super cool concept from the weirdos at B is for Build. They’re known for their damn-the-torpedoes approach to modifying things, from turning a Lamborghini Huracan into a desert racer to LS swapping a burned-out Huracan for SEMA. The latest build has been dubbed The Fraggin’ Wagon, and is designed to allow three people to play multiplayer online games from a luxury camper out in the sticks.

An inauspicious start, if ever there was one.B is for Build

The build idea grew out of a Twitch stream last year that used StarLink to power an online gaming platform from an overlanding van in the middle of nowhere. B is for Build started looking for a van, but quickly found that even crashed vans are insanely expensive. Added to that, they needed something that can tow heavy loads and go offroad. At this point, they remembered the 2008 Dodge Ram 3500 Cummins dually sitting in their shop. A little bit of CAD later, and the image of a pickup transformed into a camper/tow rig/gaming station was born.

There’s a long way to go yet, as the Dodge was originally purchased crashed as a donor for another project that stalled. The first task is to straighten out and replace the front frame rails so the truck can be reconstructed and driven safely. Check the video out, and then stay tuned for what promises to be a seriously cool series.
