Hot laps in the 2020 Polaris RZR Pro XP Ultimate

Hoonigan, a RZR Pro XP Ultimate, and a Junkyard. What could go wrong?Hoonigan

The loons at Hoonigan certainly need no introduction, but some of their most recent madness is impressive even for them. They got with Polaris RZR brand ambassador Blake Wilkey—known for some pretty spicy antics—to show off what the 2020 RZR Pro XP Ultimate is capable of right out of the box. They sequestered themselves and Wilkey at a junkyard deep in the desert and turned the internet impresario loose to design a RZR racetrack calculated to hammer man and machine.

The 2020 Polaris RZR Pro XP Ultimate is factory-ready to mob anything you point it at. We recently reviewed the four-seater Premium version here. Polaris Dynamix active suspension 2.0 controlling Fox live valve shocks on all four corners turns the odd scrap-tire field into glass. The 925cc twin-cylinder turbocharged engine shoots 181 hp through 30-inch Maxxis Carnivore tires bolted to high-arched control arms. All of this industry-leading tech means the boys are in for a wicked ride on this junkyard track in the desert.

As elected track designer, Wilkey scrapes together an absolute beauty. He’s internet famous for various questionable acts involving public streets and insanely powerful VW buggies. His junkyard job is to help the Hoonigan team build a side-by-side racetrack around the American iron slowly returning to the earth. If there was ever someone for this job, it’s certainly Wilkey. He pieces together a series of lefts, rights, and loops, sprinkled with loose spare-tire fields and a jump to boot.
