Polaris is stoked that June 12 is National Get Outdoors Day, and to celebrate, the Minnesota company has created the Offliner pledge. The National Park Foundation’s holiday was created some years ago to encourage children to turn off their screens and get outside. This year, Polaris has gotten on board and launched a campaign to engage its off-road and powersports-loving audience.

“Taking the Offliner pledge means turning off electronics indoors and getting outside. That may mean a walk in the park for some, but to others it may mean a break from routine,” says Pam Kermisch, Polaris chief customer engagement and growth officer. “Think Outside is our call for people to experience the ultimate enjoyment outdoors and to discover new ideas and possibilities, and we can help make that possible this National Get Outdoors Day.” This is a call to arms for getting away from the normalcy of day-to-day life by way of experiencing nature. Consider us fully on board.

Better yet, the website allows Offliners to enter a contest to win some seriously cool prizes from Polaris. By filling out the form, entrants not only pledge to get outdoors on June 12, they have a chance to go on a Polaris Adventure or win outdoor adventure gear. Entering is free, and the initiative runs through June 30.

Regardless of how you choose to do so, we encourage you to enjoy the great outdoors this National Get Outdoors Day.
