Mini Trophy Truck or Dirt Go Kart?

Peck Brothers build has Yamaha R1 engine, YZF450 hubs, and endless debate.

Alex and Brady test how wheelie-proof their “trophy truck” is. Not very.PeckBrothers / YouTube

Sometimes innovation is just a fancy word for, “Can we really do that?”

Brothers Brady, Alex, and Cayleb Peck are the YouTubers PeckBrothers, combining a ton of fabrication with the kinds of love and antagonism you’d expect from rural kinfolk. Their latest build is a green mini truck with an identity disorder: the Peck brothers call it a trophy truck—or, at least, they want to. Everyone else considers it a go-kart.

Think of the most dubious definition of a trophy truck you’ve ever heard. Then send Brady (the welder) along with Alex and Cayleb to the parts desk to make it as close to a “trophy truck” as possible. Ultimately, they’d have better luck hiding three go-karts under a trench coat. Or maybe a real trophy truck body. But have a watch and decide for yourself. The only law of YouTube is “don’t be boring.” Mission accomplished.

And don’t be afraid to enter a giveaway for a previous build, their little red Jeep, a vehicle that seems to be a rite-of-passage for backwoods Frankenstein types.
