Watch Tanner Faust Teach Ryan Sheckler How To Side-by-Side

Legendary drifter shows legendary skater the ropes in a Polaris RZR XP.

If you were a teenager with MTV in the mid-aughts, you know who Ryan Sheckler is, and you also remember his little brother Kane, who Ryan was always worried about. Sheckler’s reality show was on endless repeat as the aughties gave way to the teens, sandwiched in between Rob and Big, The Jersey Shore, and Viva La Bam. What a time it was to be alive.

But as suddenly as the duo appeared, they disappeared, departing the airwaves and leaving us without a fun-loving skateboard duo through whom to live vicariously. But this week Polaris changed that, rounding up Sheckler, Kane, two of their friends, and Formula D legend Tanner Faust to show off how much fun you can have in a 2024 Polaris RZR XP.

For all his skill on a skateboard, Sheckler is a neophyte in a side-by-side, so it’s good that Faust, the racer-turned-Top Gear-presenter-turned-Polaris-ambassador, is there to show him how to get the most out of it. Kane, it seems, has turned into something of a car guy and off-roader, but is also new to side-by-sides.
