2017 BITD Vegas To Reno UTV Class Odds

"Monster" Matt Burroughs finished second at last years V2R. He wants to improve one position this year in the Can-Am.Monster Energy

The hype surrounding the 2017 BITD Vegas to Reno doubled, when Travis Pastrana was added to the entry list and teamed up with Jim Beaver driving the Polaris RZR Star Car. It’s not that there was a lack of fanfare with drivers like Tanner Foust joining Rhys Millen and Larry Roeseler signing up. However, we still have our money on the regular UTV pros such as 2016 champion Justin Lambert, Mitch Guthrie Jr., The Murray Bros, Branden Sims and last years runner up Matt Burroughs.

Phil Blurton is having a great season. With a win at UTVWC and first off the line, he will be tough to beat.Can-Am

This is the longest desert race in the U.S. and V2R has more UTV entries than any other class. But that won’t pull the reigns back on anyone, and we expect to the top UTV drivers to be knifing through the dust of the Class 10 cars and Spec Trophy Trucks before the halfway point of the 539 mile race. We have put together some odds of how the top players, points leaders and 2017 race winners will finish or in many cases not finish.

Justin Lambert is fresh off a dominating Baja 500. It took him half the season, but he has the Turbo RZR figured out.UTV Driver

It’s interesting to note that Can-Am and Yamaha entries continue to grow, but Polaris still has more entries than all other brands combined. The chart below shows the best prospects for the two top classes plus a few notables thrown in along with their race number, machine and starting order. The race takes place Friday August 18th and starts just outside of Las Vegas in the town of Beatty. If you can’t make the race in person, you can have your teams position alerted to you every eight minutes on race day through the Racing Trax website at www.racingtrax.com .
