Dustin Jones added even more glory to Can-Am’s already illustrious racing achievements in the last couple of months with his second-straight win in the O’Reilly Auto Parts Limited class race at the Mint 400. Jones notched another victory at the event back in December for Can-Am.
Jones’ December win ended a six-year dry spell at the event after his first win back in 2015. His win earlier this month came at the expense of competitors who suffered myriad mechanical failures and electrical gremlins. Jones managed the win in 7:54:22, 21 minutes ahead of second-place finisher Randy Romo.
The win is another strong step to another record-breaking year for Can-Am, which has already enjoyed glory at Dakar and King of the Hammers this year. The Can-Am Mavericks are dominant almost to the point of being ridiculous, but when you have a platform that good, it’s hard to fault success.
