The SR5 comes with Toyota’s 3.5-liter twin-turbo V-6, which makes 389 hp and 479 pound-feet of torque. The SR5 doesn’t have a ton of luxury equipment, but it’s still plenty nice. What the SX trim adds is purely in the style department. Dark-gray metallic wheels replace the standard silver ones, and the SX wears body-colored trim on the outer door handles and rear bumper. The 4WD models’ tailgate badges are blacked out, and the interior’s silver trim is swapped out for black pieces as well.
Buyers can opt for the SX package on 2022 SR5 Tundras in a wide variety of configurations. Options are either 4x2 or 4x4, Double Cab or CrewMax, and 5.5-foot or 6.5-foot bed lengths. It will come in White, Magnetic Gray Metallic, Celestial Silver Metallic, and Midnight Black Metallic. It should arrive in dealers sometime this summer.
