Mammoth Motocross in Mammoth Lakes, California, is well known by the motocross community, but is alien to most four-wheel enthusiasts. But RJ Anderson couldn’t let the two-wheeled dirt warriors have all the fun, and wanted to share the place with UTVs. As the first driver to navigate the course in a UTV, it would appear that RJ had an awesome time with his Polaris RZR Turbo R.

With the aura of The Stig, RJ exits his aerial tramway at an elevation of 11,014 feet, smack at the top of the world famous Mammoth Mountain. Without hesitation he straps into his race-ready Turbo R. Blasting nearly 3,000 feet down to the track’s location, RJ hits some trails along the way to warm up for what lies ahead.

Nos in his veins, RJ and the RZR take off onto the track once the gates drop. The Turbo R conquers the 54-year-old dirt track with the grace of Audrey Hepburn and the punch of Muhammad Ali, but not without the assistance of its pro-level driver. This track had nothing that the Turbo R couldn’t handle.
