Matt’s Off Road Recovery Lends WhistlinDiesel a Tow (or Two)

Some words come with so many built-in associations that they don’t need explaining. Case in point, all we have to do is write, “WhistlinDiesel, a Ford F-150, a Tesla Cybertruck, Moab, and Matt’s Off Road Recovery,” and you don’t even need to fill in the blanks because there aren’t any.

The short story is that Mr. Diesel, as Matt refers to him in the video, was putting two of his crash test dummy trucks through the Utah wringer. Neither survived. Hence the tow. This video features a cameo appearance by Rory Irish, a Moab local Matt refers to as “Mayor,” but that’s an informal nickname. Irish’s skills here aren’t political, rather, he seems just the kind of guy you want for rescue help no matter the rig.
