Windrock OHV Park Breaks Ground on New General Store

According to Windrock OHV Park’s Facebook page, construction crews have officially broken ground on what will soon be a new, expanded general store. Windrock says the new location will cover roughly 15,000 square feet. When complete, it should provide more merchandise, food, and service counter space. A covered patio will serve a new food service stand and food truck lot. And, we’re happy to report, public restrooms are part of the plans.

For those worried about the decrease in parking space in the main lot, fear not. Overflow parking has been created east of the main lot, located on Hoskins Valley Road and Hoskins Gap Road. We’ve Highlighted the new general store in yellow and current available parking lots in red for quick reference. Expect weekends to be busy, with parking filling up fast during the normal riding seasons and nice weather. Weekdays typically offer rock-star parking throughout the day.

Windrock expects construction to be completed sometime in the first half of 2022.
