Polaris Recalls 9,700 Units for Detaching Steering Wheels

Recall affects some 2020–2022 RZRs and Generals.

Polaris has issued a recall on 9,700 2020–2022 RZRs and Generals to address possible steering wheel failures. According to Polaris, it got 33 complaints of steering wheels with cracked or broken spokes, including five reports of rollovers and two reports of injuries.

Polaris is reaching out to registered owners of 2020–2022 RZR XP 1000, RZR XP Turbo, RZR Turbo S Velocity, General 1000, or General XP 1000s and will schedule a free repair and steering wheel replacement at your local dealer. In the meantime, Polaris says you should stop driving your rig.
