Can-Am really enjoys rolling the camera while its products are being worked out. After watching the Miller brothers tackle King of the Hammers’ Unlimited Class in their Can-Am Mavericks, we called it “A Couple of Texas Davids Take on a Whole Field of Goliaths.” The latest vid in Can-Am’s Livin’ the Land series takes that same theme.
This time David is Australian, a big unit named Jason Dittmann who, along with his family, runs the Dittmann Bucking Bulls ranch in Bloomsbury, Queensland, Australia. Like a Horatio Alger story that Dittmann hasn’t finished telling, he worked in Australian mines to save enough money to buy land and bulls to start his ranch. Then he kept working hard enough to build The Bull Pit arena to hold bucking bull rodeos, complemented by the obligatory full bar. Naturally, the events showcase the bovines his wife says he treats better than his four children.
Unlike the storyline in the KOH series, the Can-Ams Dittmann uses to run his bulls and work the land aren’t the focus of Livin’ the Land. We’re treated to Dittman talking about his journey from being a miner to becoming the Australian Professional Bull Riders Stock Contractor of the Year and achieving his dream of one of his kids—we mean bulls—nabbing the title of The Bucking Bull of Australia. Check it out below.
