Watch KC Family Pre-Run Baja

Even a fairly low-budget effort at the Baja 500 or Baja 1000 takes a huge effort, including extensive pre-running of the course to mark every obstacle, hazard, blind dune, and tricky turn. Without a good pre-run, your chance of doing anything other than getting hurt is basically nil.

KC Family have decades of off-road and desert experience under their belts, and are keenly aware of what success takes. Two weeks before the Baja 500, they were in Ensenada lining the course out in their four-seat Polaris RZR Pro R. They brought along a video crew to document the experience, and it has given us an inside peek at what preparation looks like.
