Can-Ams cleaned up at the Best in the Desert Silver State 300 at the end of April, with wins in four of the five UTV classes at the event. Cody Bradbury won the UTV Open class and the overall UTV race in a Maverick R, and Dustin Jones led a Can-Am podium sweep in the UTV Turbo Pro class also in a Maverick R with Mitchell Alsup and Herman Johnson. Can-Ams also won in UTV Super Stock and UTV Sportsman.
This is the second cleanup Can-Am has pulled at the Silver State 300 inside a year. Back in September, Jones piloted a largely untested Maverick R to the overall win at the race, notching the big Can-Am’s first motorsports win. Bradbury’s overall win this year makes it two in a row for the wild Mav R.
Keep your eyes peeled for more Can-Am wins this year, as the desert racing season is just getting going in earnest. Can-Am has long been a dominating power in off-road racing, and the Maverick R has only solidified that reputation.
