Polaris RZR Chromoly Wheel Stud Replacements

Maxwell Industries commissioned fastener specialist ARP to build a set of studs made from 8740 chromoly that are heat-treated to 180,000 psi. The result is a significantly stronger upgrade for your Polaris RZR XP 1000 or Turbo model UTV. These Maxwell/ARP wheel studs are a direct stock replacement and easy to install! They have a knurled section that is nearly an inch longer than stock, which goes through the entire wheel hub and brake rotor before turning into the stock thread pitch.

You can knock out the stock studs by threading on a lug nut and tapping with a hammer, but we would strongly recommend the use of a shop press. We picked ours up at Harbor Freight for under $200. It is one of the best investments we've made for our home shop.

In addition, Maxwell has 16mm threaded wheel studs that are even stronger than the OE replacements. These lugs require you to tap the stock wheel hub and slightly drill the rotors. We’ve order a set of these to test out, so stay tuned for an updated report.
