Is this the BEST Honda Pioneer EVER?!

Last year, Honda was kind enough to send us a 2022 Honda Pioneer 1000-5 Trail Edition to test, and we spent a solid few months putting it through the wringer at our Virginia woodlot property. We came away pretty down on the Pioneer 1000-5, despite its eager powertrain and decent capability. In the end, we thought it was just too compromised to make sense for most users. There were also a raft of small annoyances that drew our ire.

But this year, Honda tossed us the keys to the all-new 2023 Honda Pioneer 1000-6, which rides on the same platform as the 1000-5, but has proper seating for six adults, and a generous cargo area that fits the bill for utility work.
