Matt Burroughs drove off with the 2022 SCORE International Off-Road Racing points championship in the UTV/UTV Pro FI class. A senior vice president of Monster Energy, Burroughs can look to his consistent performance throughout the season for clinching the top spot in both the Pro UTV FI class as well as the overall UTV class with 485 points. Burroughs piloted his Can-Am Maverick X3 to three fourth-place and one ninth-place finishes, which, despite missing the podium all season, was enough to hand him the top honor.

That effort was also enough to land him fifth in the overall SCORE rankings. This marks Burroughs’ second season championship in three years, with his last coming in 2020.

Score says Burroughs slogged through a packed field, with more than 55 UTV starters in the Baja 1000 alone.
