Polaris Debuts Special-Edition Rangers for Hunters

Polaris has kicked off 2022 by announcing three special-edition Rangers designed to cater to the needs of dedicated hunters. Two of the trims available are the Ranger Big Game and Waterfowl XP 1000 which mark their return after a brief hiatus. The third is the all-new Ranger Crew XP 1000 NorthStar Big Game Edition.

Polaris says it equipped the Ranger XP 1000 Big Game Edition “to navigate extreme terrain where the biggest trophies live.” High-clearance arched A-arms and eight-ply 29-inch Pro Armor X-Terrain tires make for 14 inches of ground clearance. Self-leveling rear suspension keeps the back end level when loaded with gear or game. Active Descent Control (ADC) keeps technical downhills manageable, and the vehicle is draped in Polaris Pursuit Camo. It also has LED headlights, upgraded seats, heavy-duty bumpers, and a 4,500-pound winch with synthetic line. The three-seat 2022 Ranger XP 1000 Big Game Edition starts at $21,999 and the 2022 Ranger Crew XP 1000 Big Game Edition starts at $23,599.

The Ranger Crew XP 1000 NorthStar Big Game Edition adds even more amenities for a long day in the woods. It has Ride Command with GPS navigation through a 7-inch display. You also get heating and air conditioning in a climate-controlled cab, and Polaris’ Premium Ranger Pro Shield Cab System helps keep occupants comfortable and dry. The 2022 Ranger Crew XP 1000 NorthStar Big Game Edition starts at $34,999.

The Ranger XP 1000 Waterfowl Edition has accoutrements that make it ideal for duck and goose hunting in remote, wet locations. It gets 29-inch Pro Armor Mud XC tires and high-clearance arched A-arms to match the Big Game edition’s 14 inches of ground clearance. A high-mount air intake and ducting for the clutches allows vital components to stay cool and dry. The winch and other electrical components are sealed up as well. LED headlights, upgraded seats with new cushioning, heavy-duty bumpers, and Waterfowl Hunt Camo plastics round out the package. The 2022 Ranger XP 1000 Waterfowl Edition starts at $21,999, and the 2022 Ranger Crew XP 1000 Waterfowl Edition starts at $23,599.
